Last week J. Crew was having a major blow out sale, and I was able to grab a couple new pieces. I tried really hard to get stuff that I could wear now but that would also transition well into fall. To be honest, it has been far too hot lately to even think about wearing this skirt, which makes it even better that I will have no problem transitioning it into fall. I will also look to pair this skirt with black tights and a sweater when the days get really cold later this year, but for now, a tank and some nude shoes are just the ticket.

That is such a gorgeous skirt, and a great colour for both summer and fall! I have a hard time transitioning winter pieces to summer. It’s much easier for me to wear summer pieces in the colder months, because I just add tights and a sweater. I would definitely struggle a bit with a tweed skirt in the summer, but I LOVE the looks you’ve put together! You’ve totally just inspired me to pull out my tweed skirts to see what I can do with them now.
