I almost couldn’t believe it when I realized it would be August 1st this week, but in retrospect, I think summer almost always feels this way. A nice slow build into the warm weather, and then before you know what happened, the evenings are getting a little bit cooler. It is a funny time of the year for fashion too, since we know a lot of fall items will be arriving in the next couple weeks, but most stores still have some summer/transitional items around. This month I kept all my picks under $100, because if you are like me, you are trying to decide what big ticket items you might want to purchase this fall (winter coat, boots, new bag, etc.) so anything you purchase right now will hopefully transition into fall with you, but give you something new and fun to wear now.
