Primary Colours

8 Aug

Sunglasses – Tom Ford, Jewellery – David Yurman, Top – Aritzia, Jeans – J Brand, Clutch – J. Crew, Sandals – Steve Madden

It wasn’t my intention to rock all the primary colours in one outfit, but I realized once I looked at these photos that when you factor in my nail polish, I have all 3 bases covered here. I haven’t had a lot of opportunity to wear these jeans this summer, simply because it has been too hot to even think about wearing tight, skinny jeans. This week the temperature has finally broke a bit, and it was the perfect opportunity to wear this decidedly summer outfit, before we are starting to feel the cooler days of fall approaching. This is a perfect example of colour blocking simply by wearing two bold colours together, are you liking this look?

Beauty outfit! I am a little envious of those green hydrangeas in the background, as well.

Thanks so much! I agree on the hydrangeas, sadly not mine, but wonderful to admire in the neighbourhood :) Thank you for visiting! xo K

Love this look! That blouse is adorable and such a flattering fit. Obsessed with the cheetah clutch too, it really pulls everything together. :)

The yellow pants and blue top are perfect! The animal skin clutch makes it all come together, though. LOVELY! I look forward to your next post. Next time you hop on Facebook come and check out our new site, we do something similar.

You pull off colour blocking very well! I have tons of bright clothes but haven’t tried this out yet… your outfit is definitely an inspiration. Love the cheetah clutch as well, it rounds out the look nicely!
