I bought this dress last year and knew exactly what I would wear it for, the day after our wedding. Since then, I haven’t had a ton of opportunity to wear it since it is not appropriate for a wedding guest (pretty much looks like a short version of my wedding dress), so I knew it would be perfect for celebrating our 1st anniversary. It is hands down one of my favourite dresses I own, something about the delicate detailing on it makes me feel happy and special. We were able to revisit where it all went down last summer for our first anniversary, as evidenced in the last photo and it was such a special way to ring in the first year of marriage. If you happen to be from Toronto or are visiting our wonderful city, it is definitely worth a trip to The Windsor Arms hotel for either afternoon tea, or a special dinner like we did at Prime to celebrate our 1st anniversary.
So GORGEOUS and perfect for your anniversary! I have a BCBG dress that is many years old and it has the same floral applique, but it’s a blue shift. I get so many compliments every time I wear it. I really love the full skirt on yours!
