Summer is rapidly drawing to a close here, seems hard to believe how quickly the time has passed. The evenings are definitely getting cooler and the days a little bit shorter, so I knew I didn’t have much time left to wear this dress before it will sadly go away for another winter. I couldn’t resist taking some photos with my mother-in-law’s fabulous garden as the back drop when we were visiting last weekend, can you believe all the gorgeous colours she has going on in there? This is one of my all time favourite purchases from Anthropologie since it is one of those dresses that instantly makes me feel happy and like summer will never end!

Can’t say I would wear the print as it’s not really my thing or my style – but I am still searching for that elusive LWD for summer even though it’s about to disappear altogether. You look gorgeous in it though and the pale peach cardigan on top is the perfect touch for such a floaty soft look.

Beautiful dress – I can see why it is a favorite! I am trying to get use out of my favorite summer items before Fall arrives as well – hopefully my favorite maxi skirts/dresses can get some extra life even when the nights turn cooler!
