Oxford & Tweed

30 Aug

Shirt – Joe Fresh, Skirt (similar) and Clutch – J. Crew, Pumps – Steve Madden, Earrings – Coach

Here is another piece that I showed you a little while ago and how I planned to wear it now and come fall, and this is yet another way to wear this skirt. I love this classic oxford from Joe Fresh (and the amazing price tag that came with it – $24!) and have found it goes easily with a ton of things in my closet. This is an easy work uniform for a day when I need to be polished but still comfortable.

What is your go to work uniform?

As a Pilates instructor, I always am running around in Pilates clothes. But sometimes for my office job,I like to dress up just for a little change of pace haha

Being a Pilates instructor sounds like an amazing job! But I guess heels are a bit out of the question for that one :) xo K

Haha completely! I just need to pick out other excuses for heels!

So cute and classy! Love the tweed skirt and clutch together. My go-to work uniform is a leotard and tights. Ha ha. (I teach dance.)

You’re right, that is a great work outfit! I LOVE that skirt, and that Joe Fresh top is a wardrobe staple. My go-to work look (especially when on days when I need to look a little more professional) is definitely a pretty pencil skirt and colourful blouse.

Can’t ever go wrong with the pencil skirt, and I love that you can go with pretty much any colour blouse you want now instead of boring white! xo K

All looks deliciously vintage! And how’s the comfort level of the shoes? I need some nude pumps fast!

Thank you! Those shoes are actually pretty good, the key is the hidden platform, makes them much more comfortable for the long haul :) Thanks for visiting! xo K

Love the tweed skirt and leopard together! Sadly I don’t really get to pick out what I want to wear to work. It always changes and at the moment I’m wearing scrubs because I’m pretending to be a vet! haha….

Pretty colors in this outfit. Love that you incorporated a bi.t of leopard. I always try to show a peep of leopard!

The skirt (and the deal!) makes me ALMOST, {almost} miss working.

    • With Love ~K September 4, 2012 at 2:12 pm #

Big emphasis on the almost :) But we can always meet up for a “business” lunch and give you an excuse to rock a pencil skirt and blazer anytime! xo K
