Please take me “up” for a ride – have you ever seen a hot air balloon cruise past your house? Apparently in Stratford this is a common occurrence – I was so excited!
First off, Happy Friday! We are headed into a long weekend, and things are definitely looking up, so it seemed like the perfect time to share some of the things that have been making this week just a little bit brighter. We celebrated our grandparents 65th wedding anniversary last night, and there is something so special and unique about making a milestone like that, it really puts things into perspective. Here is to a weekend full of summer fun, family, friends and love (we are headed to a wedding, so lots of love in our case) and I hope you have a wonderful time enjoying this extra long weekend!

Hot air balloons take off right by my house behind a cracker barrel so I see them all the time. Seeing them actually inspired me to surprise my boyfriend with a hot air balloon ride for his bday this year. It’s fun to see them cruise by but even better to cruise over someone else’s house and wave to them. Definitely worth the $$ to go if you get a chance! Love the pics…enjoy your weekend!

Ha ha, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a hot air balloon from my home. Too funny. 65 years!?! Wow, that’s pretty amazing. I’m so addicted to Macarons right now, it’s crazy. If you haven’t tried the macarons from MoRoCo in Yorkville, you definitely need to make a trip. Hope you’re having a great long weekend!
