Harvest Punch

25 Sep

With the official start of fall behind us, I hope you are ready for some serious fall inspiration over the next week or so on here. We are starting with the perfect fall cocktail! I was on the hunt for a fun Thanksgiving cocktail (for those of you outside Canada, we celebrate this holiday in less than 2 weeks) and this one fit the bill perfectly. We absolutely love apple cider and everything about it reminds me of fall. Adding in a little maple syrup, rum and lemon to taste – you have yourself the perfect fall cocktail in my opinion. What else do you like to make now that the seasons have changed?

Enjoy!

You will need:

  • 2 oz. rum
  • 5 oz. apple cider
  • 1 oz. maple syrup
  • 1 oz. lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients in ice filled shaker
  2. Pour into glass with apple slices and ice
  3. Garnish with a cinnamon stick

This looks totally delightful! A drizzle of caramel on top would be just luxurious. Now if only I could learn how to NOT burn my caramel… grrr
